Framed Print Info
All the limited edition prints are available framed. We have carefully selected a double mat and frame combination that matches the artwork in a neutral format. We use a traditional solid wood oak frame that does come in different shades. Typically we use the darker oak, but this is available in blue/gray, natural oak, light oak, and mulberry. The frame is about 1.½" wide and 1.½" deep. We use Baimbridge acid free mats from their Alphamat collection. We typically use a chrome (light gray) top mat and blue inner mat with overall width of 3". Standard single strength glass is used with conservation mounting corners. Most of the prints can be viewed framed on the website, however true color is hard to represent with a digital camera. About the Prints
All of Richard's prints are limited edition; each print is signed and numbered by the artist. The artist works with watercolors on illustration board that is taken to a professional photography studio to make transparencies to be used in the reproduction process. After we have the transparencies, size of the print, edition run, and text are configured. Next in the process, a graphics company makes printable separations that are approved by the artist. If a print is of a registered building or uses official college logos, we have to get the product approval by the University before continuing. Finally, it is time to run the prints on a (4) color offset press; the artist monitors the entire printing process very carefully and pulls prints off of the press to inspect for color correctness, these become artist proofs. The rest of the prints are run off, allowed to dry, and are trimmed. The prints are available for sale by themselves, shrink-wrapped, or framed. Shrink-wrapped prints are placed upon a 3/16" foam core board and are wrapped in plastic for protection. This method of purchase is typical for giving unframed prints as gifts.

Shipping and Return Info
Prints are shipped in UPS tubes to offer maximum protection during the shipping process. We use UPS ground service for all of our shipments, unless otherwise requested. Allow 1 week for print orders and 2 weeks for framed print orders. Prints that are purchased in the shrink-wrapped format are shipped flat in a folding box container. Framed prints are shipped in a large box with a ton of peanuts and protective bubble wrap for added protection. Shipping charges are $10 for prints, unlimited quantity and $30 for framed prints. Returns are accepted if the product is shipped back in the same condition as delivered for exchanges or refunds. We can credit your credit card for the full amount of the product less the shipping. If the product arrives clearly damaged, do not accept the delivery from UPS. If you noticed damage after receiving the product, inform us and we will have UPS pick up the product and will ship another one immediately. We do go to great lengths to ensure safe delivery and in fact seldom have any damaged product reports.
